Wheat Rava kesari is a famous and healthy sweet recipe in South Inda. We offer this as prasadam for Gods on special days. This is very quick recipe which can be prepared in 15-20 minutes. I prepared this with jaggery to make recipe healthy.

Ingredients:
#Ghee - 2 tbspn
#Cashews - 10
#Raisins - 15
Broken #wheat rava - 1/2 cup
#Water - 2 cups
#Jaggery - 3/4th cup
#Sugar - 1 tbspn
Crushed #cardamons - 2
Edible #camphor - 1 small pinch
Procedure:
1) Heat a pan on medium flame and add Ghee-1 tbspn. Heat to medium hot and add Cashews-10,Raisins-15. Fry till raisins pops up and keep aside.
2) Into the same pan add broken wheat rava-1/2 cup and fry for 5 mins on low flame. Fry till you get nice aroma. Add Water-2 cups and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 mins on low flame or till it is cooked well.
3) Add Jaggery-3/4th cup, Sugar-1 tbspn and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 mins on medium to low flame. Mix in between and cover and cook till thick consistency.
4) Add crushed cardamons-2, roasted dry fruits, ghee-1 spn and mix well. Add edible camphor-1 small pinch and mix well. Continue till kesari separates from pan. Turn off the flame and serve in a bowl.
Tips:
- Fry wheat rava in ghee on low flame. Do not fry in high flame. If they burn, the total dish will be spoiled.So fry on low flame for 5 minutes or until nice aroma comes from the rava.
- For 1/2 cup add 2 cups of water and boil on medium flame. Check in between for not burning at the bottom.
- Adding 1 spn sugar will give right amount of taste to the recipe.
- I added edible camphor. Please add edible camphor at the end of the recipe to retain its aroma in the recipe. Do not add too much. That will dominate other flavors like nuts, cardamons in the recipe.
- When rava separates from the pan, recipe is ready to be served so remove from the pan.
