Wheel Brightz

Wheel Brightz are an inexpensive way to customize your bicycle and give it an awesome new look at night! They consist of a battery pack and a strip of LED lights what weave inside the spokes of your bicycles wheel. @@xAZAZELx13 I'm gonna. I plan to put five ambers across the top instead of the usual three since it's an 85 bullnose 150. Then I might place two or three at the bottom.

I've used a lot of wheel lights, they always break after awhile so I stopped buying more. I will say that the tube design has one caveat, it needs to be cleaned when needed or it makes the light dimmer. I collected a lot of dust on mine after a couple of months and it was noticeably dimmer.

I would seal up the end, then. I saw a video online of a guy adding super glue to pieces of cotton swabs. *shrugs* Or at least make sure you attach the lights so that when the wheel spins, the opening at the end of the tube is trailing, not leading, in the wheel.

Brightz should be rechargeable...do you think zip ties would have worked?

The rubber attachment thing is pretty bad. One broke, the other will probably break. Use a zip tie.

@@xAZAZELx13 Thanks for the heads up. Mine's an e-bike that tops out at 40mph, will zip tie the other rim to avoid it happening.
