‘Wheel of Fortune’ legend Vanna White speaks out on host’s health and filling in l ABC News

Legend- an extremely famous or notorious person, especially in a particular field. Vanna White has been on television for 37 years. And while flipping letters isn't rocket science or medicine, her role on WOF is iconic. I fail to see how referring to a famous television personality for more than three decades as a legend gets chalked up to a loss of common sense.

My Mom and Dad and I have watched Wheel for countless years whenever I would visit til four years ago when I moved in with them to care for them. Our routine was dinner, the news then Wheel of Fortune! My mother was 90 and was so stinking good at solving the puzzles. She passed away this year and I sure miss the competition! I love Pat Sajak but I wanted to say, “Vanna, you did a great job filling in!” As did Pat’s daughter. My favorite part of the show is the mini conversation you have at the end! Yeah she is a legend, a national treasure. I worked my way thru college as a cook, I worked in Engineering for 35 years. I saved my money. I helped make things for national security that saved lives.
