@@StarkMaximum Upon looking it up, it seems like it just offers a quick way to turn off all of your phone's cellular radio and wireless transmission functions for the purpose of flying on an airplan. It can also help your battery last longer. Turning the wifi on after enabling airplane mode does partially defeat the purpose of enabling it in the first place. Though on iPhones this is... pretty useless since the button for airplane mode is centimeters away from the Cell Signal button, Wi-fi button AND the Bluetooth button. Not sure if this is also the case on androids.

@@randomnpc445 Recent versions of Android allow you to change where the toggles are placed, and even remove them entirely. So if you don't use airplane mode you can remove it from the quick settings panel, or move it to another page if you have enough icons on the panel.
