I agree that the Egwene & Elayne image looks like the Seanchan capture scene. On a side note, I really hope they make this closer to the books than season 1 and with better writing. There were some really good parts in the first season, but they dropped the ball in very clumsy ways too often.

Yeah I agree with you about season 1, there was a lot of good aspects but unfortunately a lot of bad aspects towards the end of the season as well as in between.

@@WheelofTimeTheory Some things they couldn't have done anything about, like the pandemic and Barney leaving, but some of the other issues are on the production team. Amazon not allowing more and/or longer episodes, and meddling too often appears to have been a big factor as well.

I wish they would hurry up. They need to have a season every single year. I'm so sick of getting SO MUCH less, while being told it's so much more. We used to get 20+ episodes EVERY YEAR, not every 18-30 months. They claim it's all higher quality now. Well, you know what, go back to lower quality and pump out more story. If you ask more they are just taking ideas for one episode or one movie back in the day, and stretching that one story into an entire season. We are being robbed of more story and more plot progression as stretch what used to be a one hour idea into 8-10 hours.

I can't imagine where that jungle land the girls are in could be, nor what could be causing their separate reactions. Just have to wait and see.... I am eagerly waiting to see more of Mandarb the wonder horse, however! 😂

It was pointed out that it looks very similar to the shot I believe in one of the teasers or behind the scenes look at season 2 where it's a waygate. The wonder horse lol, seriously though couldn't they give us a different shot of Lan other than on a horse?

I read all the books I get the impression the “writers” they chose didn’t. They took away all the charm and magic of the series and infused modern morality. People sleeping together like a hand shake, making the wheel of time switch genders and even break up souls into pieces. This is what Robert Jorden was afraid of - they killed his series.

Rand is still a man and still the dragon. There is no confirmation or even solid evidence that anyone's soul has been split. Did you really read the books? Unreliable narrator and prophecy is one of Robert Jordan's favorite tactics. Characters going on unreliable beliefs/incomplete or limited information, and massive amounts of *lost knowledge* is one of the biggest, most blatant aspects of the books. You can't miss it. How is it offensive that Moiraine, who has been searching unsuccessfully for 20 years, has moments of doubt that it might be within the realm of possibility that interpretations of 3000 year information may be inaccurate and she should be open to other possibilities? A lot of Aiel openly dismiss Rand though their prophecies are some of the more obvious ones and dude shows up with evidence. Did they not read the book? Literally nothing was actually changed in the end regarding the dragon's gender or identity. A layer of uncertainty was added to the show that communicates to viewers that no one in this world has the full picture. You are right that there is some 'fade to black' implied sex. Disliking sex is totally valid ❤... but... the books are kinky and thirsty as hell. 😅 (Personally I don't mind if they leave out all the spanking and "horniness-indicating-magical-dipping-and-rising-necklines" and don't zoom in on everyone's boobs so we can evaluate them every other shot...).

I'll decide when I see the scene, but Egwene's face looks like some very elementary acting is happening. Is that her best pouty 5 yr old face or legit anger?

It looks like just a single frame from a scene when she is in the middle of going from unaware of what's going on to fully snapping when some danger is perceived, and could come across differently in context. It would fit the Seanchan capture scene, but we'll have to wafo.

While there is nothing wrong with criticism, I'm always perplexed by these sort of comments hahaha. It's just a still, so how would you of acted out this scene to covey emotion to isn't "elementary"? Back seat actors lol

@@WheelofTimeTheory I get your point, but the still is kind of a bad still. Are you telling me you've never seen a more compelling still picture for a movie? Normally sneak peeks pick something good to show. It's like taking a picture until you get it right. This was a bad frame to stop on and allow to get released. Marketing is like putting on some nice clothes. This still is like wearing pajamas to a wedding. LOL.
