Thanks for making these videos in NYC. It’s so helpful to see what can work for people with special needs. Love you two! So bold and strong.

Thank you for these videos! I'm a wheelchair user moving to nyc in a few months, and it's great to be more prepared!

It looked beautiful on the brooklyn bridge during sunset but that is probably why it was more crowded. Don't get discouraged by the yelling. People in new york just communicate in a dysfunctional way. It still baffles me how so many things are not wheelchair accessible. I hope you still had a great time in new york and you guys are so blessed to have each other.

Thanks for such a thoughtful perspective, Soo Hyun! You're so right that the yelling shouldn't even faze us, 'cause that's just the way people communicate in New York. 😆 We did have an awesome time though, and we even took a second walk over the Brooklyn Bridge once we regrouped. Excited to share the next chapter of this episode soon... Stay tuned! 💕

Really appreciate your videos! ❤️ As my mobility has gotten worse our idea of a fun vacation has just changed so much. Last year my husband and I went to Beijing to explore with him pushing me in a transport chair and I think that experience almost broke us. I think it’s really great what you’re doing, and I’m sure it’ll inspire us to try another big city trip again.

Thank you so much for the feedback. ❤️ We totally know that feeling of being overwhelmed and discouraged by a rough travel experience. It’s not easy out there! (Beijing is a HUGE trip - and in a transport chair?! You two are hardcore!) We’re so glad our stories can give you some encouragement to try another vacation. Hopefully the next one will go much more smoothly for you guys.

After watching this video, i'm not planning on going to New York city in a wheelchair anytime soon LOL.

LOL, totally get that. After all the ups and downs, though, we've still got to say that NYC is well worth a visit! Our favorite high point is in the next segment of this episode. Check it out!

It’s an experience! 😅 You’ve definitely got to be ready for a certain level of sensory overload at places like the Brooklyn Bridge. Once we cleared our heads a bit, though, we really enjoyed it. ✨

iNTERESTING I never would’ve thought of the bus. It’s probably slower but if you have to re-route with the subway half of 1 6 of the other?
@ThatsHowWeRoll4 жыл бұрын
Ha, exactly! What you may lose in speed with the city bus, you definitely make up for in predictability!

@@ThatsHowWeRoll yeah I mentioned it on a different comment couple years ago but I’d love to meet up with Sacha and Sarah if they’re up for it. I did not make it in September but I am going this July 5 through the 10th so in the next couple days and I’ll be traveling with a mobility scooter.
