Thank you so much for making these videos! Please please keep going. These videos help my husband understand it is possible to travel my disability. He loves me so much and worries about me while traveling.

This was precisely what I was looking for! I'm wheelchair bound and now bound for Venezia. Your video was very helpful for me.

It’s so hard to hear you speak with the music playing while you are talking. And the music is too loud. Love your helpful videos!

Thank you for this. I had assumed there would be no WC access, but good to see you managed to see somethings at least.

Goodness gracious Sylvia, what an inspiring, infectious, beautiful and precious woman you are! I just discovered you tonight and have already watched 8, 9 or 10 of your videos and as time permits, will watch every one you've shared! I subscribed to your channel so I can try and keep up with you lol. My story is similar to yours but my problem began thanks to a very drunk driver who evidently thought he could drive. He hit me head on at about 70mph and I was stopped first in line at a red traffic light, not even moving. The impact broke my neck in 3 places, damaged my spinal cord and broke other bones, one of which poked a hole in my right lung lol. The docs kept saying I would not live. I did, but was paralyzed from the waist down and told I would never walk again. Up to the morning of that accident I had been an avid runner, running (not jogging,- running) 3 to 5 miles every day and 7 to 10 on weekend days. I laughed at the doctor and told him not only would I walk again, that someday I would run again too. I used a mobility scooter for a while, then a walker for 17 years. 3 years ago I gave up the walker. I can even run again now but I don't very much because it causes much pain. I've been to 29 countries and 39 of America's states. The world God created is beautiful and no matter where I go, He is there waiting for me! Now I own 2 acres on the Texas Gulf Coast, in the country, and have vegetable gardens, rose gardens, grapes, berries, fruit trees, giant pecan trees, all sorts of flowers and flowering bushes that attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. A KZbinr friend from North Carolina who designed and builds horizontal beehives gave me one, then he, his wife and daughter drove all the way here to deliver it. There are wild hogs (one attacked me a little over a year ago) and deer out here so I built a sturdy wooden fence around it so they couldn't tip it over. I do more now than many 30-40 year old men who never had a disability. Sylvia, you nor I ever let our disability go to our head like most people do. I'm very proud of you. You inspire me. You're an amazing woman. May God bless you and your precious sons, abundantly!!! And I think He already does. Thank you Ma'am, for your service to our country!!!

A really useful tool, I’m s manual wheelchair user and I found it exhausting without a motorised help or assistance.

In terms of your hotel, how was that with accessibility? My main concern when traveling is the bathroom and whether there are bars next to the toilet, and if the shower is roll-in and has a shower bench/chair.

Would be nice if you show how to access the boat, the buildings, etc.

I tried the best I could to show how I board the vaporetto ‘s. I was traveling by myself so there was only so much I could do with the video.

@@spintheglobe I appreciate it. At least we know that it’s possible to explore Venice in a wheelchair full time.
