I used to work as a wheelchair guy. It was really great job. I met a lot of people made a lot of friends. Sadly the salary really sucks.

@HassanHassan-kh1uj8 ай бұрын
@@xyiql1623 It was hard yes. I worked at Frankfurt Airport which is one of the biggest in europe, so I walked daily round about 15 km (pushing a wheelchair and handling the luggage).

It would be nice if there was a Video that explained more in detail how to become a Passenger Assistant & what is expected. What & how to properly do a Full Body Lift & many more. There was a show called "Flight Attend School"? This video didn't show me how you do a Full Body Lift or FBL. How you fill out the papers you turn in on how many wheelchair assists, FBL's, etc. How to call and use the Radio for different situations good & Bad. I love your video but it would be nice to learn more fore not just passengers to learn what a person has to go through but if there is someone who wants to join your or any Passenger Assistance company to get a real idea on how it all works including the Application Possess and kind of a Life in the Eyes of a Passenger Assistant. Thank You.

I'm traveling to Japan soon and have been trying to figure out what it's like to be in the airport with a wheelchair (I didn't need one on my last flight back when I was fifteen). I know it's probably different for each airline, but is it possible to get a wheelchair at the airport without having an attendant? I'm traveling with my family and really don't need an attendant with me since at least one family member will be constantly with me.

I think it’s very unfortunate, bordering on the unfair, that disabled ppl who use wheelchairs cannot stay in their own chairs and just board the plane in their own wheelchairs, just like its already done on busses, trains, and automobiles. Wheelchair users are independent. Why should someone have to sacrifice their independence just to board a plane, not to mention running the very real risk that their personal wheelchair gets lost or damaged during flight??

Im upset about this because i can walk ok and really good also i had ankle surgery done when i was 10,11,12 and 13 i have just bolts and screws in my ankles and i can walk really good im 30 now last time i went to the airport with out a wheelchair because i was with other family and i was walking good and ok just because i have a condition like that doesn't mean i need a wheelchair because im fine ,ok and good to my feet are really good walking at the airport im not crippled theres nothing wrong with me im normal just like everyone else and this really bothers me because i don't like to be different from people and its embarrassing to😔😠yes just because my condition when i can walk 😡but this can probably make me feel better about this i will just think of it this way i don't have to walk when im there i can just relax and rest when im getting pushed i can pretend im riding a horse or low rider 😆😂 just to distract myself even tho i can walk good and ok if its just that condition i have a feeling like im taking advantage of the service when i can really walk like i just pushed that person in a wheelchair for nothing yes theres people that would do that pretend they have something wrong with them just to get a ride in a wheelchair so they don't have to walk and they do that because there lazy like i dont want to walk i want to be pushed in a wheelchair but if they do need a wheelchair and something wrong with them there not pretending there serious but people can see people at the airport like that's persons walking they took advantage of me
