Always good. Best Mechanic Edd. Virtually seen all the episodes sometimes three times. Helped me with my home mechanics repairs. Just changed two track rod or tie rod ends

A thing i learned to do, was measure from center joint point and then fix a ziptie at 10cm in from the CJP, then remove the track rod and replace it, adjust the length from CJP to ziptie until it is 10cm, then tighten the track rod

Do you tighten the track rod end ball joints to the manufacturers torque settings Edd? Or do you just tighten by hand to whee you feel it is tight enough?

Might as well , saves you having to do the tracking twice Start from a fresh base, always do things in pairs if you can
