Great series to watch. One massive let down for me was not seeing the car tested, I mean proper put through its paces by a racing driver. See how it really handled. So much quality work put into it, and no real proof its actually any good. From all the footage it looks as though 40mph was the fastest it was pushed. As it stands its the paper weight you said it wouldn't be, you built it to race. Bring it to the UK for some classic hill climbs.

As always Edd did a brilliant job when he replaced convertible hood, interior, installed chrome trim, metal gearknob and handbrake handle, chrome MX-5 kickplates, chrome mesh grille, performance air filter, chassis braces, 15" white Enkei factory alloys, repaired and repainted corroded A-pillar 👍However, the repair of the window mechanism and broken right mirror replacement were not shown in the episode.

I did the same suspension set up 15 years ago. 1” lower 600lb coils, a larger sway bar. The front end stop rising up when going on the freeway round about. Would going to a coil over setup improve it that much more? Looking at Chris Alston’s coil over and quad link rear suspension

Definitely, you made the wrong choice. Exhaust manifolds must be cast iron , since their expansion is very limited. On the other hand, stainless steel tubing expands too much, and you’ll end with a warped manifold, broken studs and bolts , and leaking exhaust gases .
