Wow. One of the best wheels off details I have ever seen. Got some good ideas though. That was a great tip with using the steam to emulsify all the dirt after using the cleaner. Probably the cleanest those wheels have ever been. Excellent.

It sure is😉 Also, what nozzle do you use for the IK? The one for the thickest foam? I bought it a month ago but cannot seem to get foam as thick as you do
@VermijlCarDetail4 жыл бұрын
I use the grey nozzle. Getting the right thickness and spray pattern really comes down to finding the right dilution ratio in my opinion. Also I usually only fill up the container for about 60%, that way you can get enough air (and enough pressure) into the foamer.

I've been watching through all of your videos today and you've got yourself a new subscriber! Already one of my favorite detailers on KZbin! Keep it up! Btw, which color on a car is your favorite/least favorite to work on? :)
@VermijlCarDetail4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I’d say solid (uni) black is in a way the hardest color to work on, but probably the most rewarding as it provides the best reflections and gloss once it’s corrected. A color I really like is blue such as the Golf R from my recent video.

Awesome video, especially the product ratio, as silent comments. Using CarPro is the magic of dilution and mixes (hello Elixir). Your channel is the rear case when you can watch the same cars detailing again and again while every time is noticing new details. Few questions so far: 1. What is the algorithm to SUM MultiX(1:20) with Reset(1:500) in a foamer? E.g., 1:1:520? 2. Is it worth to spend DLUX on wheel arch plastic? Is it okey to think DLUX as durable Perl alternative? I do worry that It will be quite complex to maintain hard to reach parts Perl'ed with the wheel on.
@VermijlCarDetail4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I basically use MultiX 1:20 and add a little bit of Reset just so it foams better and sticks to the surface for longer. Too much Reset will make the foamer clog up. You could use DLUX instead of Perl, it might last longer but I don't think you will get close to 1 year of protection because these areas tend to get really dirty.

Vermijl Car Detail on the inside of the wheels and the brakes you just used iron x first?
@VermijlCarDetail4 жыл бұрын
@@marcjarvis3975 my bad, was looking at the wrong video between the overview of my channel comments. The vehicle got a wash beforehand where I also pre-rinsed the wheels. You could indeed wash them first, that way the IronX cleaner will be a bit stronger. But since I knew the brake bust wasn’t that stubborn, I decided to do it this way. It might be more of a personal preference.
