Definitely picking up a pair of these in 45°....and probably the regular ones too. I know they first time that I NEED them, they will pay for themselves. I've purchased all of the other pliers you showcased as well - it's an addiction. The Twin Grips work so well I have a pair in my Service pouch (especially during the winter, for inducer assembly screws), a pair on the Pegboard above my work bench, and a pair in my toolbox on my personal pickup. When you need them, they save a LOT of frustration - had a co-worker drive across town to borrow them the other day - he's actually gonna spend the money on a pair of these 'fancy' pliers he always gives me grief for buying.

I was going to order knipex long reach but dang this design makes a lot of sense

Interesting tool, it's curious why nobody invented this before. The jaws are very similar to my knipex long reach pliers. But yes, this handle design is very good.

This is great for movie bad guy bullet extraction in the back room of a vets office somewhere

I've got 2 Knipex long reach pliers (straight & bent). Looks like the Milwaukee design may be better, looks like it never gets thicker than an inch or so. Sounds like there needs to be a "long-handled plier olympics" for 2024. Happy New Year and all that.

Happy New Years everyone. I have picking up some of Milwaukees hand tools of late, especially their USA made pieces. So far i am very impressed with the build quality.

Tool technology sure is advancing quick nowadays. I have a couple long pliers but they’re not great. I’ll add this to my wishlist. Thanks

Only the ones manufactured offshore the us made companies struggle to make their current lines

These seem to be called "double x" needle nose pliers when made by othef companies. The cross points are closer on the those so there seems to be a leverage advantage to the milwaukee ones. I for one, am happy to see the cross over between forceps and standard hand tools.

I just might be 'needing' some of these... but want to look at them hands on first. Have had the Knipex extra long nose for years & use them often... no complaints. The 'business' end of the Milwaukee 90 & 45° look remarkably similar to the Knipex versions.

I'll wait for the HF version.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for I just need them even thinner. Or smaller gauge. Locksmithing.

I'm an automotive locksmith. What were you thinking of using these for?

I think I have a pair of channel locks that are similar to this that are probably 3 years 4 years old. So I'm guessing they both came out about the same time if the people that make the channel locks aren't the same ones that make Milwaukee..

Wondered how they stacked up to the 2 joint pliers I have a pair of double joints with a pistol grip that I abuse. Work great for grabbing something deep and I can grab a cotter pin and smack with a deadblow and keep my fingers out of harms way Does the joint seem robust enough to handle smacking with a deadblow?

Haha because that's what they're designed for

Thanks for the info, and I also am impressed by and grateful for innovations like this, but, why don't any of these tool companies get really serious and apply more than one or two recent innovations to a new tool, and send to market, for example, a 5-position (like Knipex TwinGrips) or at least 3 position (like Snap-On Talon Grip or Icon) extra long cross-handle or double-X (or hybrid of the two) long nose pliers with aggressive cross-hatched teeth at the end, multi-zone jaws, with a mini screw extractor type slot side-tip (like Vampliers VT-003-85)? May as well be locking while we're at it. Sorry for the mixed metaphor, but pliers technology seems to be just inching forward by a millimeter or two at a time. Let's have tools with more than one or two of these now fairly common innovations? :) Edited for clarity.
