#3 Texas A&M vs Florida | College World Series Final Four | 2024 College Baseball Highlights

Texas A&M Baseball and Florida Baseball played in the bracket final in the 2024 College World Series. Texas A&M would advance to the CWS Finals with a win, while Florida needed a win to force a winner take all game 7.

Lamkin kinda owned Florida, so did Josh Stewart and Evan Aschenbeck...

Towards the end of March and into early April I fully expected Florida to not even make the SEC tournament. Pretty incredible how they were able to turn things around and get as far as they did.

​@@JAXAYNUT He only got a hit because the ump didn't ring him up on an obvious strike 3. Because he got a hit A&M had to change their pitching approach to the next batter. Because they changed their pitching approach they took a red hot Stewart out of the game and put in Aschenbeck. This led to a 1st and 3rd situation with one out which is different than a one on and two outs situation. Baseball is really a sport of the Butterfly Effect. Something small that happens can change a strategy further down the line.

He isn’t a douche. Coaching a team with a double header( in the cws) is not easy. He should be allowed to face palm all he wants when he took a team that wasn’t ranked and took them to the cws semi final.

The only douche is you. During Kevin O'Sullivan's 17 years at Fla, he's taken the Gators to NINE CWS. . .four straight. They won the title in 2017 and were runners up . twice. Last year they came within TWO INCHES of beating LSU. This years team was an underachieving, mediocre average hitting club with youth and inexperience all throughout a depleted line up and yet, when the smoke cleared, guess WHO was in the final four? NO coach can take a player's and hit the ball even when he hopes his hitters take his advice. Fla's hitters on average were just that. . average. This UF club set a record for Ks in a season. For reaching the semi finals, I'd say he deserves to be coach of the year. Stick to watching pickleball. A much simpler game to understand.

Florida crushes the ball against Kentucky pitchers and then lays an egg on A&M pitchers. SMH Justin Lamkin pitched like a pro in this game though. Props to both teams. I’m a KY fan but I hope A&M humbles Tennessee in the finals.

I'm pretty sure Florida won this game had they not just scored 15 runs against Kentucky 6 hrs earlier in the day......this 2 games 12 hrs (let alone one day) in the college world series is some Bundesliga type stuff. The Vols are penciled in as 2-0 favorites though, so Florida likely would not have beaten Tennessee anyways.

Hard to win two elimination games in one day. If the game would have been tomorrow the Gators would have had a better chance. Idk what will happen this weekend but it's gonna be epic. I like that the Vols got to play another conference and not play the same teams as the season. And that's why I think they win. A&M knows these teams and has already played them. Tennessee wins 2-1. Pitching is good but the Vols entire lineup is really good.
