You truly can’t fathom what this was like unless you were there. I’ve NEVER felt electricity like that in a sporting event. Behind first base we saw every play happen and had goosebumps the whole game. Biloxi to Omaha was a hell of a ride, but glad we made it. Geaux Tigahs.

Night and day from a team like Tennessee. It's pretty obvious how character is an obvious pre-requisite to play for LSU. Even for a kid from Canada in 1997, LSU was the school I dreamed of pitching for. Injury kept that from happening but have always cheered since. Hell, I don't even like football but never miss a Bengals game because of the obvious connection. I really hope that one day my country embraces college sports like our southern brothers. Like how can anybody not be hooked after this CWS?

Seemed like he had it all the way but the ball might have had some backspin. Definitely didn’t fake the jump from the replay but live it looked like he tried to sell it to double up the runner. Ball probably sailed but I’d say I was trying get a double play. Guys had some great catches in the sun this cws he’s made look routine. As a Tennessee fan I hope lsu wins it. Yall been playing some incredible ball and are fun to watch.

Thompson cost LSU a double play by catching that then throwing to 2nd. If he just lets that go, it's a double play. It turned out ok, but could've not. Not to mention he's like 0-35 this tournament with like 25 K's and rollovers to 3rd/SS. He's terrible.

Pearson ain't in for his hitting or on base % him and Thompson are basically an automatic out at the plate but are both defensive playmakers. Pearson made at least 6 run stopping plays in Omaha alone.

ANOTHER GREAT GAME..I'm not sure I've seen so many high intensity close games as I have during this years CWS....Those who understand the nuances of baseball can appreciate the chess match that is going on with every pitch....I've really enjoyed the series and this game...which is strange for me becaue if my school is NOT competing I usually have zero interest....This is somehow different though so good job by both teams.... Now, as an AU alumnus....I decided I have to get behind one team and be against the other...Throughout the CWS I will admit I have pulled against the Gators after watching their first game and have been supporting LSU. Although I'm a guy who was born and lived in South Florida....have an older brother still living in Florida....I do not have a bond or any reason to back the Gators in this matchup...I have or had 9 relatives that lived and/or that still ive in LA ...from each side of my family...My mom's side, an Aunt & Uncle and 3 cousins...my Uncle was a game warden in one of the southern Parishes West and South of New Orleans....I still get freaked out sometimes thinking back when I was a kid and my Uncle would take us kids into the Bayou at night ...that was creepy ... On my Dad's side he has a brother ( my Uncle) who moved his family or better stated he was stationed at Ft Polk Army Base forever ago...He was well known on and around the base and when he retired he was a full bird Colonel....once they arrived at Ft Polk he was never stationed anywhere else...They were/are HUGE LSU FANS...My parents and my Uncles as well as 2 of my cousins are no longer with us (RIP)....I've watched both teams and IMO, I could be wrong but LSU players seem to conduct themselves with encouragement, passion, and confidence but it's never show boating, in your face, look at me constant chirping that I witnessed in a couple of the games from the Florida players...as an old school player from the 80s @ AU I just have a low tolerance for showing up another player in a ball game...Baseball is just different and while I could be wrong ...I have more respect for the LSU players and team as a whole...The WHO GIVE A RAT'S RIP CATEGORY I CHOOSE LSU ALL DAY LONG...For some reason the Gator players remind me of Bammer fans...kinda strange but that prokect that same level of...well....who cares...both teams deserve to be in the finals ....I just hope the fans and players represent in a positive way... So I will be pulling for the Purple and Gold to take home the trophy in 2...

Skenes and Floyd have two of the best fastballs in the sport, amateaur or professional. Skenes paints the corners with high RPM ropes like Strider, and Floyd has more run than any major leaguer ive seen.

This was another amazing game and outstanding pitching by floyd. Im glad we won but man, if just 1 person got a hit about 15 different times, we never go in to extras. I think we left 18 on total, 17 in the first 7 innings. We had every opportunity to blow this game wide open. Besides jobert in game 1 against Tennessee, our bottom 4 are not hitting at all. Well melazzo has a couple hits but they better start hitting. I want to win game 2 and not even have to play game 3 and I want to win big. My nerves can't take these nail biters anymore. But hey, if we win, I'm good either way.
