These bench warnings and ejection for a pimped home run earlier today or the warning against LSU for absolutely nothing are nothing but fuddery that needs removed from the sport. Let these guys play, let them chirp, LET THEM PIMP HOMERUNS! They do it in the NPB and KBO. It makes the game fun MLB/NCAA need to wise up to this while baseball is suffering in popularity.

I understand the frustration behind that but here’s what you need to remember. Let’s say that there is no rule in the NCAA against pimping homeruns and trash talking. Pretend that doesn’t exist for a minute. You pimp a home run and the next batter or even next time you come to the plate the pitcher throws 97 MPH at your ribs or even worse. The NCAA is trying to stop retaliation because student athletes will get seriously injured. The umpires stop the bat flips, pimping homeruns and trash talking or whatever it might be… you will see less and less athletes being targeted by opposing teams. It’s for better but some people are old fashioned which I do understand. The main point here is that they are trying to not have teams just keep plunking eachother cause someone decided to take it to the extra step by bat flipping a ball that went 320 feet.

@cartermaymon8387 If someone intentionally hits a batter, then the current rules apply. Pitcher and manager both get sent to the clubhouse. If a Pitchers ego is so fragile they can't accept someone at somepoint will hit a tank off them. They need to find a different sport, an individual effort like golf.
