This is a genius idea. No rent, no parking fees, if it stays mobile. Like a robotic street hawker who is not paying any fees apart from the cost of setting up the shop in new locations all the time.

Any questions, just ask. Like Arvids question: can you program them to fly? (The answer to that particular question is "maybe"). /Tomas

profitability is soooo important that companies can't afford a permenant location?! When I buy something I want to know what is in it, if it is a reliable product, and who the supplyer is. That is 1000 times more true when it comes to food. If have a brick and morter has become too expensive then maybe companies should be looking at what their consumers want to buy from them and let amazon sell what it can. Cause not everyone wants to buy everything from online. I want to go in and talk to a person, not a computer. I like going in to a store and ignoring the self checkouts because I like having a human interaction and I do not care how much money that costs my local grocer or corprate grocer. If I have a question and it can't be answered I want someone to tell me who can give me the answer. This is just another hightech way to make more money and cut jobs. Shrinking the middle class. I would never use this.

This seems nice, but automating a grocery store runs the risk of putting grocery store workers out of business.

Automating communication led to an incredible number of jobloss in the fields of couriers and horse breeders, and see, humanity is still here ;-)

So should we sacrifice progress to keep jobs? Hasn't this always been the case with new technology? doesn't it by nature displace jobs ? Aren't new jobs also created with the creation of this new tech? I think it's a matter of time before people in retail are replaced as well as people working as cashiers. It's just better for the business but worse for the people.
