Hobbiest acrobat and handstand coach here! Have been handstanding for 4+ years and keen to offer some advice if you're open to some more! 😅 Look between your hands! The ground is a solid point of reference that you can use when making adjustments. Face the wall when handstanding on the wall! The correct shape is a "dish" where your toes are in line with your nose. Having your back to the wall creates a "banana" handstand. Happy to coach more actively if you want it 😊

This was sooo fun, it's weird how much I enjoyed watching (mainly listening during work) someone doing workout and talking openly about life. Thank you, weirdly satisfying and inspiring to try to do something in your life you never thought possible. Do you really read all the comments??

Handstands are a very specific skill that just requires a lot of time and consistency to achieve. All the advices and techniques you've been given have merit, but none of them will give an immediate and groundbreaking result. Do you need some mobility - yes, strength - definitely, but the hardest part is the proprioception and the balance itself - you need to learn to feel and control your body and do multiple tiny corrections in order to keep a balance in a position which is not normal for the body. If you can think of the time a child needs to learn to stand steadily on their feet, you can imagine how much more difficult it is to learn to balance on your hands. Hopefully it won't be discouraging when I say that I personally trained handstands more than a year consistently and I never got to 10 sec hold away from a wall... So if you want to have this skill, prepare for a journey longer than 30 days, as 30 days to handstands/splits/whatever.. are nothing more than marketing tricks for our impatient society, real skills take time. I wish you don't give up and achieve your goal! Enjoy the journey! :)

You should check out ASH WATSON (British Gymnast + Guiness World Record holder + KZbinR) - maybe even do a second video with a zoom call to him as an expert... he even has a handstand course you could check out... also I think you guys would get along really well - he and his friends (also Gymnasts and Nile Wilson is even an OLYMPIC BRONZE MEDALLIST) are just awesome and they teach gymnastics to all kinds of people and make it look so fun :) Anyways, cool video as always XX

Beyond any sleep simpatico, I have noticed the same thing you're talking about, sort of like one can alter one's temperature tolerance over time, I used to live near a pretty decent mountain slope and during the spring thaw I'd try to just walk up to a nice trail there, the first time I'd do it my body'd be like "system failure! EJECT!" and I'd wonder if I'd reached some sort of permanent new low, but the next time I'd do it I wouldn't be breathing as hard and I wasn't having some sort of out of body experience. As long as there aren't problems with the heart or whatever there are sometimes comfort barriers to break through that sort of expand your ability to tolerate stuff a bit.

I watched the original Ghostbusters when it first came out and of course I thought it was great, then the sequel I thought was "meh", but when the new Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie came out, I re-watched the first and second and the second was better than I remembered. Maybe since expectations were low, I was pleasantly surprised. Back then, I reckon since the first was so good that it made any sequel pale in comparison.

How are the handstands coming along?

Perhaps it would help if you face the wall and walk your feet up until your ankles are in line with your hips, then you can engage your abs a great deal more (pull your navel in toward your spine) which will help you engage your core (abs) more. This will also keep your hips over your shoulders which will help with balance as well as strengthen your arms, shoulders, and core (abs). And you can hang out there longer without fear of falling…..because your feet stay on the wall. Lastly, don’t forget to breathe while you’re in the pose! Keep going (I, mean if you want to). And lastly, lastly, if you want someone to spot you, they need to know how to spot you. It can be dangerous for both of you if they don’t. Be safe! 😀✌🏾😉

So at this stage you can probably do a full marathon doing a running hand stand thing, right?

I really think you'll get there, just might take more time then you wanted, but also not injuring yourself is also great. Then for Ghostbusters, I think the ladies' movie they suffered from not really having as much horror in their horror comedy. And their villain was just so boring. I actually think had they made him actually scary and more of a threat, they would have had a better film. There is some really funny stuff in it, but there really isn't any horror or really fun Ghostbusting, and it suffered for it. This is the only 2nd time I've commented and I don't subscribe to anything I watch, but I have enjoyed you for multiple years now. Thanks for existing.

Why am I so invested in this other asthmatic Craig trying to do something I have no interest in doing? Also, Afterlife is great. The originals obviously have a really important nostalgic place in my heart and there first one will always stay my favourite but I think that Afterlife is a better movie.

Paul Rud is delightful but I was so let down by the Second Ghostbusters that i havent bothered to see any of the other sequels. Absolutely No interest and it doesnt trigger any nostalgia for me but if others enjoy then i am happy for them.
