Whelen Edge Ultra 9000 SC (B-Link) - In Introduction

This is a basic intro to the Whelen Edge Ultra 9000 lightbar that uses the serial control (serial communications) SC, also known as B-Link control protocol, with the three wire control cable.

I do not have a part number, I was on the Whelen website last year and those LED panels where available, but I just looked and do not see them anymore.

@Rob D what cable do you use to go into the 9 pin rj485 thing , is it a usb to 9 pin or something else, my toughtbook has a 9 pin mail outlet on it but not sure if I can use it?

@@jamesrossi4260 I am using an old DB9 to DB9 serial cable. Just a plain old serial cable will do.

I also like you, I have 3 or 4 inboars and corners with the chrome reflector in excellent condition, but with the bulbs burned out and I'm nostalgic to discard it in the hope of finding a replacement for the tube as well.
