Don’t understand using the 180 degree optics through the tinted back glass. 40 degree optic is much better punching through the tint and for further distance as traffic approaches.

We done some testing on this. Honestly it’s not much different. Some brands are, these not so much. With that it’s easier to stock and not wait weeks and weeks for products, so we use 180 for that reason too.

@@911RapidResponse You could also just cut out the tint where the lightheads are. Leaves the tint on the glass, but the lights dont have to punch through anything.

Idk which these are, but it comes with 3 engine options. They’re all V6 DOHC 24 valve Duratec engines. The least powerful and probably most popular, because it’s cheapest, would be the 3.3L naturally aspirated. The same engine also comes as a hybrid option, and it’s slightly more powerful. Finally, the most powerful, and can even outrun the Charger 5.7L V8 Police Pursuit (with the 5 speed auto) is the 3.0L V6 with twin turbos. It’s about 430 HP, if I remember right. The explorer PIs before these used a 3.7L NA V6 making about 305 HP. Some of the older ones before then had a 3.5L Twin Turbo and 3.5L Naturally Aspirated. Both the 3.5L and 3.7L are also Duratec V6s. And all of these have Variable Valve and Cam Timing, Gasoline Direct Injecttion, and are Dual Overhead Cams with 24 valves (4 per cylinder).

Why do you guys use feneix light sticks but not fexiex perimeter lights? Feneix puck is offered in tri color and the fusions pack a bigger punch than the t ions from my experience.

Ford REALLY screwed up with those grills. Only like 40% of it is actually open. Wtf is the point in that? Just make it either all open or have the grill be smaller. It’s so obvious. The rest of the car looks good, but they ruined it by doing that.

Yea, im not a fan of the Interceptor grille, I think that the civilian models look better.

That's just cars now. All of them are doing things similar to this. Frankly the Grilles over the last 10 years have been MUCH larger than necessary. The way engine cooling systems are pressurized now, you could realistically get away with using straight water for normal driving, it won't boil until it's closer to 250 or so. Not that it's suggested for many reasons.. Think about it. Grilles for cars in the mid 90s were nearly not there - Most of them were bottom-breathers. Look at the 1986-1998 Taurus. Most of their air intake was done BELOW the center of the 'grille'. For some reason, everyone seems to think the big maw design looks good..

@@zacharyreynolds4303 it seems like, other than the charger, all alternate manufacturers dont put that much effort into police spec vehicles. Chevy is getting there with the tahoe, but those are too expensive for most departments
