The "glitch" hiccup is most likely the second activation string coming through. Many controllers are setup to send an activation more than one time. In most cases it just makes a double wind up like in Oklahoma City, but in this case it got a little confused.

Because this tone set was made for European countries, hence they refer to it as European tones because nobody in the states really uses it.

@@Dubby522 whelens alternate tone set runs on these sirens, they are made to be able to do it, but these sound a little different so it leads me to beleve its a custom or modified tone, most electronic sirens get angry when they try to do custom or modified tones for some reason

it does sound like that, but it isn't saying anything. it sounds like that because of the phaser effect these tones have. it also sounds like it is saying "yay, yoy or yo"

Lavon recently upgraded to a new encrypted activation/software system that cannot do the alternate tones anymore. The new signals are Attack and Whoop. They will be installing a new Vortex and OA4 in the coming month or so.
