Amazing match for Carlitos. Normally, this game would have been an onslaught b/c Carlitos is younger. But it's not the age. It's the tennis I.Q. that makes invincible!

Been following all his matches the past 2 years and he's a breath of fresh air and makes tennis great again. LOL it's always been great but him and Skinner are going to be the new kids on the block. Plus there are some great ones out there.

Carlos' game is almost identical to what he has now, heavy ground strokes, exquisite touch for volleys, insane speed for court coverage; but now he has a much better serve and much more aggressive return of serve

Tactics are the same from u12 all the way to goat level. At elite level they’re just implemented with way more speed, strength, flexibility, fitness.

Both players are good but Vives has not made and impact on the ATP tour yet but maybe it will come. Amazing Alcaraz of course so much talent going on.

Just checked the ATP player profile …Vives is now 613 on the computer with not a lot of prize money I’m afraid. He’s two years older than Carlitos. All I’ll say is this Carlitos has earned over 31mi$$ion, World no.3 and four GS at age 21! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🇪🇸💰💰💰💰

Its not surprising he did well here, he turned pro at 15. He won his first atp tournament 4 years after this though. Prodigy.
