I just laugh at the "secret service" men in 0:20 wearing suits in what must be sweltering weather. The reason Western executive protection service professionals like the American Secret Service wear suits is to blend in as much as possible with the person they are protecting. Thankfully, the soldiers are professional, even carrying out security checks on generals arriving parade ground, good! They delivered world class parade as well, shame the camera people here as usual, did a poor job of documenting and sharing it. It is like there is a curse on Nigerian film editors and cinematographers. A curse to never hold the camera steady and not make their viewers dizzy, and a curse to never produce high resolution videos . Why upload this video if you are making a 70s era video production? A mobile phone video is better than this, these days. I wonder if these people get professional training at all, or if it is as the usual case with Nigerian thing, that an ill-prepared, unqualified, over-entitled element has been given a letter by an equally entitled politician, to a crony, to give this ignorant element the right to man the camera because there would some government money to share at the end.

It's such honors and convoys that make military generals think of seizing civilian power by coup d'etat. In a country like Cameroon, no military person no matter the grade will be given such honors, never. He will come in a convoy of maximum 3 cars, and review a contingent of maximum a brigade. Such display of is left only for the president and maybe the prime minister. That is why no single military general in Cameroon can think of anything other than his job.

Ask them how many times Boko Haram fights have been captured right inside Nigerian territory by cameroonian soldiers and handed to the Nigerian army or how many times Cameroon army has carried out cross border air raids on Boko Haram. Or do you need video links on this. Nigeria is the giant of Africa no doubt but your government should work hard on the moral of it's soldiers. They aren't good fighters. The aren't motivated and lack real leadership and coordination.

In my country, which has the 4th largest armed forces in the world, the army chief gets may be 3 cars out of which 2 will be military police escort.
