I served there 0ver 3 decades ago. As at early this century I visited Akure, it was still a rustic city. It's great to see them make 10 best cities in Nigeria despite not being a state with high IGR and oil state. Kudos to their government. I thought Abakailike and Kano would have made the list.

imagine these beautiful cities in Nigeria and obviously the country has very wealthy affluent people. if the top 10 richest tycoons could come together then build one of the best univeristy in the world and import some of the best resource as lecturers and then from each state select the poorest but the brightest of students and the rest fund their education from their pockets, i think that wuld be a noble contribution to this nation. Nigeria can do it only if they decide, not sure what will stop them. just a thought though nothing much

I have noticed that picture of one beautiful stadium has been repeatedly shown for 3 cities - Warri-Delta; Uyo-Akwa Ibom and Abuja- FCT. This particular Stadium (Akpabio International Stadium) is actually located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. However, I appreciate your beautiful work. I hope next time a little more qualitative analysis/work would be done to bring out more features in each of these cities because I know for sure some cities like Uyo is endowed with massive & beautiful infrastructures. Good job, bros!
