Diesmal mit einigen Tipps wie du schneller und technisch sauberer fliegst. Mehr davon bitte! Die G-Loads niedrig zu halten, wuerde das auch fuer die LS3 (bzw. Clubklasse) gelten, oder vorallem fuer 18m-Klasse und mehr?

Klappt mit Discus auch ! Klappen drinlassen und nur mit dem Höhenruder arbeiten !

Die G-Kräfte sollte man auch in der Clubklasse möglichst vermeiden. Generell versuche ich beim Einfliegen in ein Steiggebiet die Nase nur bis zum Horizont oder leicht drüber zu nehmen, so dass die Fahrt nur langsam abgebaut wird. Wenn man sehr übertrieben zieht und drück, macht das auch einen ziemlichen Umweg.

You are probably right about G forces, but one time in a contest in Montague, California Gary Ittner almost cut me in half with a near vertical climb right up the center of the thermal I was in.

Which piloting technique is more effective when flying on a cloudy street dolphin flight or active flap control? Some gliders do not have flaps.

The biggest problem with dolphin flight was that the varios were not accurate and reliable enough. If you pull up because of a horizontal gust, you just waste energy. That´s why I was not a big fan of the normal speed to fly with MC theory. With the new vario systems like Larus, the missteps are rare so gentle dolphin flight should be the most efficient way. Of course you will also need to adjust the flaps according to your speed and gliders without flaps just use the elevator.

Interesting remark regarding high g-forces. This has always been my gut feeling, keep it smooth and find the subtle balance between flaps and elevator. And switching off your gear by accident, happens to all of us and it really sucks.
