What is the glide ratio of the Ventus 3 Sport Edition ?. Schempp-Hirth does not publish the glide rations of their sailplanes anymore.

I've had a few near misses over the years landing out ! And it's been worse since having an engine, leaving it later and lower ! Trouble is the lower you are, the more chance you have of losing sight of your chosen field or becoming disorientated in the heat of the moment ⚠️ Thanks for sharing

There's something quite mesmerising about hearing nothing but air molecules sliding over the glider's wings, fuselage and cockpit rather than the thrum of a fossil-fuelled engine while flying.

How many hours did it take for full? And why did you keep stopping? Asking because I am aspiring become a gliding pilot, but as I am in a different location. Trying to understand and prepare lol if anything medically (eg motion sickness) should be considered

I know full well the heat of Uvalde. I was crew member for a Canadian pilot in 2023 for the U.S. 18m nationals. I was also scheduled to be his crew for the 2024 Worlds but something I could not avoid came up. It would have been nice to have met you seeing how much time I have spent watching your videos.
