I do like how games of that era actually gave you rewards that were worth while, contrast that with breath of the wilds farm 999 korok seeds to get a pile of golden shii

The fact this franchise died is a genuine crime. Part 2 may not have been as good as 1, and I didn't care for some of the mechanics, but it was still great. I even went through the trouble of unlocking Alastar and Captain Blue in the original cause I loved it so much. I'm not one to usually go through the harder modes either but it was a blast. At the very least rerelease them on modern consoles please. I loved that goofy game so much I ended up throwing up his VJ finger pose whenever something cool would happen in real life, back in the day.

A modern sequel is all I’ve wanted for a very long time. At least have Joe in smash bros lol that would be awesome.

Honestly this game was so punishing but fair. They send you back to the beginning but it's never too far because you can run through the lvls if you're on point

I Love the Style of the Game, it gives me certine Suda51 vibes, like Lollipop Chainsaw or No More Heroes, but i played Viewtifull Joe first and remembered it. If you like Suda51 games try this one out, or stuff like God Hand
