Had to go back for 5 years of school before that because no one wanted to hire a millennial with just a high school diploma, they all demanded college diplomas for entry level jobs. Thank the lord I studied in something actually useful and not something that can be replaced by AI. At least now I'm getting paid over twice as much as I was before... Just have student loans to pay back now... Need a car... Maybe in 10 years I'll have enough for a deposit on a shed or something.

Lucky. In my country, the uni semester doesn’t end for another week and a half and it came out right as the uni semester ramped up, so I’ve only been able to do an hour a day and will only be able to do that for another week and a half. Can’t wait until the semester is over so that the next week I can sink like 70 hours a week for the 5 weeks of break into this game! BOTW was great and so far the first just under 20 hours of this game have been great too!

Bro, I had the worst luck on day one. I had work the day TOTK came out so I got my preorder the minute the store opened and had to go to a Starbucks to play the game because I didn’t want to waste time or gas going home. I got 2-3 hours in before my battery died and drove to work. I stick grocery shelves so I get orders. Turns out my order was not only delayed, but late by 30 minutes after the delay time. I had to wait forever to actually do my job, and I couldn’t play Zelda in the meantime, because my switch was dead! When I finally got done, I only got up to meeting purah again before I had to go to bed because I had work the next day!

This is why I love the SteamDeck - I can play games in bed, bathroom breaks, or on a break not tied to my PC, and just put it in sleep mode and pick it back up again where I left it when I need to get up for the 47th time to deal with a kid request/emergency. I think this fits so many people cause anyone with job and family provide find sometimes just too busy to play games. Especially games like botw, told, skyrim, and other open world games and roja just take too long to complete. I remember traditional Zelda games like skyward sword, ocarina of time, wind waker, and twilight princess being long but were near as bad as last two Zelda games. It was more manageable in my opinion. I won't go into detail about how I hated breakable equipment, the shrines, goddess blessing, and side quest that seem more tedious than previous Zelda games.
