I had a friend that I kept trying to support and tell them that they were important to me when they went through something... but they ended up hurting me and made me feel uncomfortable to the point of where I could not trust them anymore. And as time passed I realized that they lied to me a lot... Even if they do go through something, should I really let myself get hurt and possibly lied to just to make them feel important?
