Remember that when dogs and cats live in the same space, it's REALLY important for kitty to be able to traverse the space without having to interact with the dogs. This is best accomplished with lots of shelves and clear raised surfaces to give the cat a space they can reach that the dogs cannot, aka The Kitty Highway. This will allow your cat to observe your dogs at a safe distance and learn their body language, leading to less misunderstandings between your animals that may lead to fear, stress, and aggression 💚

Huskeys have a very strong prey drive, I left my cat alone without locking him up in a closed door room, with my new husky after monitoring for months and went to the grocery store.. came home with cat pee all over the kitchen floor. My huskey had grabbed my cat in its mouth by the back towards the hind legs, and had shook him, my cat could not walk. Broke his back. Went to a 24 hour vet. Had to put my poor Smokey the cat down. Watch out. Never leave a cat alone with a young husky.

Horrific. Very very sad. Feel bad for both husky dog and cat, especially cat that was actually not prey. It would have been less horrific had the cat been a true prey to the wolf (wild dog).

Gohan and Kai consider the human guardian alpha of the pack. If this respected and successful alpha member is gentle to the cat Nacho, so is Gohan and Kai. This is actually a human pack of one human and two dogs, now a dog-cat (Nacho) has joined...for this is not in the wild, so therefore a human pack. Nacho the cat would never be in full membership. Cats are more solitary than dogs and humans. But Nacho looks like will enjoy the companionship nevertheless.
