I mean experts do do that, mastering a game takes many tries, and knowing when you can do something better and restarting to do it better gets you results and doesn’t overwhelm you or cut your progress in learning down if you completely fail

Manor Lord, over hipped unfinished game, with 3 hours of content, made by a scammer, who 3 years ago was showing far way more features in it's gameplay official videos that the current game version has. And also he dears call himself solo dev, when his credits has over 100 people... There are several games in exactly same genre, that offer way more than Manor Lords, and yet, they are ignored, just because of marketing and not quality. For me, Manor Lords, is proof that today's game are shit, not because of gaming industry, but because of dumb customers with no criteria at all, and they are the majority.

Bro, it's in early access, people know what they are buying, because it warns every buyer before purchasing that the game is not finihed. What You are saying is like "I played minecraft version 1.0 - sucks ass, there's nothing to do in this game, it will never be great" - look at where it's now almost 14 years later...

What I mean is that Slavic Magic has official videos, showing gameplay, 3 years ago, with way more content (cavalry, really bigger maps, diplomacy, etc. just check his channel for yourself). He basically faked all this content, just to make videos. Once he got the money, only then he started really working on it and creating the game itself. For me that is scam, if you call those videos as "gameplay footage". Even if in the end you deliver the product. Also, Manor Lords still have many texts like "insert_text_here". Do you know how long does it take to fix issues like that? Literally less than 5 min per string/text. Realeasing an E.A. with strings placeholders is very, very, very extremely lazy.

@@Mendogology Ok, I undestand what you're saying, and you're right to some point. In my opinion though, as long as the final product of Manor Lords has most of everything that Slavic Magic has marketed, I wouldn't call him a scammer. I would wait for atleast a few months, before calling the developer out so boldly, to see how Manor Lords has been updated.
