You need to motarize your supply. It extends the effective range lf supply hubs. Also for the russian civil war if your having a hard time doing it legitimately. You can cheese it, recommend watching a video about it. Also make sure that your facility's are closer to your capital so they have maximum supply. Also for the russian civil war its good to have some cav so you can out run the soviet divisions. The reason japan still had supply btw was because they motarized their armys supply and had the trucks todo so. If you ever encircle a division remeber about supply grace period.

He did motorise his supply, but I think he forgot Russia has 0 supply hubs in the East(bar in Vladivostok), so him losing it basically meant he gets nothing and the Japanese get everything. Frankly if that happens to you, all you can do is dig in and wait for supply hubs or ports to build, nothing else can save you.

I mean, we did promise them that if they gave up their nukes we'd protect them but... they are currently being invaded by one of those silly countries treating to nuke willy nilly.
