Looks a nice place but probably not very practical for a day trip next time we're in Gib! Thanks for the video. Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!

Me and my partner went to the Rhonda from Gilbraltar many years ago, on a very different bone shacking train. The climb makes your ears go pop as if on a plane as it is very steep, you can see the climb from the windows and the scenery is absolutely outstanding with crane birds nests on top of the telegraph poles. Rhonda is a very beautiful place and I loved that you managed to film the lovely Bridge and it being lite up, how they carved it out can only be left to the imagination. The Christmas light were lovely it made you feel good. The only thing i really hated was the BULL RING YOU RECOMMEND TO VISIT. Do you know what happens in these disgusting places, please people dont go to any of them. Apart from the fact that you missed your train, it was a great Video and i hope you enjoyed your stay. Happy Christmas.

Thanks for the comment. It was a much smoother train ride, although you do feel the altitude. I agree it's an absolutely beautiful place. Don't worry, I didn't visit any bullfights, just commenting on the building.

@@theofficalGibTV Hi, thank you for your reply, the train you went on looked really sleek, we visited Rhonda in the summer but it was still abit cold, my partner speaks Spanish so its good when ordering food, he also gets to chat to the locals. We always got the Menu Del Day which was about 3 euros for 3 tapas plates. The place you stayed at looked nice and good value for money. So glad you dont go to bull fights. Enjoy your Christmas and New Year, hope the weather is good, here in Hertfordshire its cold, wet and windy.

@AgainstAnimalAbuse ahh thats good to hear. At least you had a translator. 3 euros for a menu del dia is very good value. Not the same anymore. About 12 euros now. Thanks for watching.

Great video as always thank you. Looks like you were racing against time from the off.Was it a day trip or a stay over?. The trip looks interesting however what's the chance of being stuck somewhere if trains aren't regular.

Thanks for the comment, Shaun. I stayed over. The apartment at the end of the video was a holiday rental. You have to plan it well, or you could get stuck. Thanks for watching!

The trains are irregular year round. Theres trains at 7am, 10:30am and 4pm. The return leg leaves Ronda at either 4.20pm or 10pm. Got the 10pm train back and got a taxi to La Linea from the station.
@Shaun923018 күн бұрын
It seems alot of hassle bus,taxi & train. But I suppose it's the spirit of adventure. Happy birthday by the way if I had watched the video till the end of would of realise the full extent of the trip. Am a big fan of trains tbh and the Line between Malaga & Fungerolia is ace shame it finishes there . Didn't realise that line you travelled on. On reflection San Rocque station looks like something fro the wild wild west even expected someone sitting in a rocking chair on the platform lol. Oh it seemed you have a fan ,she appeared in the Market place,following you to the bus station etc etc 😂. Your good lady I see .

They didn't close the line to Rhonda then ? When I visited Rhonda in 2015 there was talk of closing it .
@theofficalGibTV19 күн бұрын
Hi Sam, thanks for your comment. The only time in recent years that I know was the line closed due to a landslide but all running fine and has been for years.
