Best one for me....Paul Hogan in Crocodile Dundee...Now that's a knife!!!! It was done during a break in filming, and was so good, they kept it.

1:44 they got R. Lee Ermey in to train someone else on how to act as a drill sergeant, when they saw how natural Ermey he was they cast him in the role, that's perfect casting in the end.

It was no accident. Ermey went in knowing he would take the role by force.

Here’s a quick correction. When it came to Indiana Jones not wanting to be in a sword fight. Most of the casting crew, including himself are running a fever and had terrible food poisoning. He was so weak he couldn’t really lift and actually have a sword, so they improvise with the gun.

I still remember Mark Williams when he played Horace in the live version of 101 Dalmatians. His reaction to the heater in that crappy old truck, bursting into flames, was one of the funniest reactions I've ever seen in a movie.

Another good one from television is "The Honeymooners." She show was performed life, so whenever things would go wrong, Jackie Gleason would improvise around it. One particular example is when a piece of the Handy Housewife Helper (a household utensil that can supposedly replace every other utensil) snapped off and flew across the room, Gleason remarks "Maybe we should say something about spear-fishing," and Art Carney adds "You don't need the skate key there."

You missed the very best one. In Young Frankenstein, Marty Feldman moved his hump from one side to the other every day when shooting. In the scene when Gene Wilder asked him “Wasn’t that hump on the other side?” And Marty Feldman replied “What hump?” That scene was entirely made up.

@robertotamesis17835 ай бұрын
@@Germatti13489 It even caught Carey Grant off guard, his eyes began to roll🙄? , he was hoping the director say cut. I think Audrey and the director plotted this prank. Because the camera was focused on his face , for the rules of cut away shots you focus the moment he speaks. Audrey Hepburn was a trained stylist and beautician besides being accomplished ballerina, she used to practice shaving a balloon with shaving cream using razor.

Ford was not feeling well in Raiders and I believe it was reported he had food poisoning in that scene and was tired of doing multiple takes and was not up in general to the scene, so he did that instead. Spielberg had originally planned out a pretty elaborate sword fight.
@Noycey645 ай бұрын
most of the cast and crew were ill from the local food, except for Spielberg who brought his own food. Similar to Ringo Starr when he went to India in 1968 with the other Beatles, he took a suitcase of Heinz baked beans.

Belushi's "I'm a zit" must have been popular when I was in high school from '66 to '70. At our senior skit at an all boys' parochial school, we drew a huge face on butcher paper of a kid with acne. It was at least 10 feet high and there was a hole in the kid's cheek with one of my classmate's head in the hole. Two other classmates came on stage, singing the latest Clearasil ( pimple cream ) jingle and at the end, pushed on the kid in the hole's cheeks and he spit out a mouthful of cotton balls as he was supposed to be a zit that the singers just popped.

@socoman995 ай бұрын
@@joecold1243 I wasn't saying that. I think I didn't say that correctly. I meant that the same joke about zits might have been popular where Belushi went to school and that's where he got the idea from to use in "Animal House". Sorry about that.

The comment about the necklace with Julia Roberts is not correct. That was planned by the director. Apparently, Julia Roberts had been out late the night before, and was sleepy on set, so they had Gene snap the case as a bit of a wakeup call to her.
