“When all the saints come marching in” lyrics: Oh, when the Saints go marching in Oh, when the Saints go marching in Oh Lord I want to be in that number When the saints go marching in. Oh, when the drums begin to bang Oh, when the drums begin to bang Oh Lord I want to be in that number When the saints go marching in. Oh, when the stars fall from the sky Oh, when the stars fall from the sky Oh Lord I want to be in that number When the saints go marching in. Oh, when the moon turns red with blood Oh, when the moon turns red with blood Oh Lord I want to be in that number When the saints go marching in. Oh, when the trumpet sounds its call Oh, when the trumpet sounds its call Oh Lord I want to be in that number When the saints go marching in. Oh, when the horsemen begin to ride Oh, when the horsemen start to ride Oh Lord I want to be in that number When the saints go marching in. Oh, brother Charles, you are my friend Oh, brother Charles, you are my friend Yeah, you gonna be in that number When the saints go marching in. Oh, when the Saints go marching in Oh, when the Saints go marching in Oh Lord I want to be in that number When the saints go marching in. . . . . (One of the possible lyrics variations...) - It is impossible to list every version of the song, but a common standard version runs like this. Louis Armstrong and his orchestra made one of the most famous jazz recordings of “When All the Saints Come Marching In” on May 13, 1938. The song is apocalyptic, taking much of its imagery from the Book of Revelation, but excluding its more alarming depictions of the Last Judgment. The verses about the Sun and Moon (The book of the prophet Joel 3, 4; 2,10; Mt 24, 29) are often interpreted as Solar and Lunar eclipses; the trumpet is the way in which the Last Judgment is announced. As the hymn expresses the wish to go to Heaven, picturing the saints going in (through the Pearly Gates), it is sometimes played at funerals.

@@lukesvintagetrains5495 And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given power to harm land and sea, 3 “Wait! Don’t harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants.” And I heard how many were marked with the seal of God-144,000 were sealed from all the tribes of Israel: After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings. And they fell before the throne with their faces to the ground and worshiped God. They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.” Then one of the twenty-four elders asked me, “Who are these who are clothed in white? Where did they come from?” And I said to him, “Sir, you are the one who knows.” Then he said to me, “These are the ones who came out of the great suffering They have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb and made them white. Revelation 7:2 - 4, 9 - 14 . . . . And I heard how many were marked with the seal of God-144,000 were sealed from all the tribes of Israel: After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. . . . 144,000 and a vast crowd, too great to count - Yes. That’s a lot! :):)

Life with God is like music. Maybe it seems that placing the fingers on the strings means nothing, maybe the letter designations of the chords are strange and the "scribbles" in the notes do not make sense. But God will turn every scribble, every strange letter or finger placement into the most beautiful symphony that gives meaning and brings joy to everyone around.
