I'm surprised there isn't a vision like those transition lenses. Now I played my Junior and Senior year with a Clear Oakley visor, and the only reason for that was, I was able to get contact lenses and didn't want dirt or anything like that getting in my eyes. Kansas is very dry and wind is a problem. I got made fun of because we were a single wing offense, and my coaches and teammates thought it was for the "Cool" factor. Which visors usually are for the "cool" factor. But, when it rains, lmao you can't see anything! 😂😂😂

My coach lets me and the backup quarterbacks to wear colored visors, he doesn't let the other guys to wear colored visors. The other players can wear tinted visors not colored visors and most of the guys on my team have visors. My coach said the colored visors can be clear, smoke, or dark.

You don't need to use a youth visor. under armour and a shoc 1fit in youth and adult helmets. It's all about the facemask

you cannot have a coloured visor that lets 100% of light through. The fact that it has a colour means that the visor reflects light waves of that length, for example: a clear purple visor will allow all light waves through, except purple light waves, that's why the visor is purple.

im a varsity high school player and when i was very young, i had to have brain surgery and it dilated my eyes so when i walk outside after being inside, it takes my eyes longer to adjust so i got a tinted visor for practice. i could have gotten a doctors note to wear it in games, but we only played on friday nights so i decided there was no point or need of me having a tinted visor, and being a corner, i needed to see the ball and it was hard to see the ball with a tinted visor at night. so just something to consider.

It all depends on if your coach will let you wear it first of all, and then if the ref lets you wear it. My teammate wore a clear shoc visor that had blue coloring. My coach didn’t care, and he wore it for a whole game and didn’t hear anything from the refs. But, the next game, he wore it during warmups and the first quarter, then was told he had to take it off by the refs.
