Holistic practitoner here, at the end of the day you both know deep down what you want and when it may happen. Do not take everythjng literally when some people tell you different things. We all have 100% control over ourselves and that aspect in life. A reading will tell you usually what you already know and want. All I can say is don’t sweat the small stuff and focus on your connection and being a unit. Kids bring stress and other aspects that you need to build now before they come as the day to day gets in the way quickly. The communication is a bit harder as we all have egos and want things, when we look at this from a position of love, compassion and sometimes compremising, you should be fine. One thing about kids - you get what you get!!! (two boys here - 36 and 40). People with more than two say that after two it's not bad with an extra one. I know a great family that had trouble conceiving at first. Then they had three kids AND adopted two more!!! IT truly IS WHAT IT IS! And it's WONDERFUL!! IT is one hell of a ride!!!! And Sam? You cannot FATHOM the feeling you will have deep inside when the nurse actually hands you your first child! IT IS OVERWHELMING!!! You have an actual angel for a wife! I remember when my wife gave birth to our first kid.....I was 26, a Sergeant in the Parachute Regiment, I'd just came home from an 8 month deployment of Afghanistan, and my Son had already been born two months prior...now, I'm not as tall as Sam haha, I'm 5'8, but I'm a rugby player, always been a big broad lad, and as I said I was a big, burly, battle hardened Para back then...and my wife handed me this tiny little package, wrapped up in a little blanket....not going to lie, other than my wife, that was the first time I fell in love....I was petrified that I might break this little creature my wife had just handed me - I mean, I could carry a wounded comrade, dance to the rythm of a machine gun, fight until my last breath.....but this little thing in my hands demanded the attention of every single piece of me and I was scared to death I might break it. Fast forward another 3 years and my daughter came along and it was that same, intense, loved up feeling that washed over me again....now I had another little being that I would, without hesitation, lay my life down for, without a thought. This time, a little girl. Fast forward again to now, 2024 and my son is now in the Army hiself, much to my protestation, and my little girl is 14 and, can I just say, not allowed to date until she is 50 or I'm dead...whichever comes first. Anyway, long story short, you two are going to get so much from parenthood, trust me, and honestly you're perfect people for it; where there's love, you'll find happy kids.
