She became the Empress after she died but it was only Shengmu Empress, meaning she became Empress because of her son becoming Emperor, and not because of the Emperor's affection for her. So while this is only a drama, it is still historically accurate to portray Empress Xiaoyichun / Lady Weigiya as a villain who ultimately still did not gain the true affections of the Emperor

The Qing believed that they will see the person buried with them in the afterlife. This means that Qianlong's love for Lady Weigiya was inferior to his love for Lady Fuca and his INITIAL love for Lady Nara, since both of them were previously made Muhou Empresses (meaning that he loved them so much that he wanted to see them in the afterlife).
