@@AysarAburrub actually a better explaination is that whenever faker plays, he attracts a lot of attention and pressure, meaning they will camp him, this will free his teammates to get the objectives since, it is almost impossible to kill faker 1v1, he is camped by jung or ganked by top or bot, basically, the more the enemies are invested in getting a chance to kill faker, the more their team loses the game. It was hilarious cause i remember they said that the 1 reason faker is still regarded as the GOAT is cause of the amount of pressure he can absorb from the enemy team, allowing his teammates the freedom to push and pressure elsewhere.

Every pro I seen loses to Faker 90% of the time. Only time I see him lose is if he is trolling or just has a feeding team. He has bad games once in a while and loses. I think you are wrong. Although faker still manage to win his lane in most of his game, THERE ARE players that can match faker's laning phase (not many), because laning become very even these days. But in general I don't think there is anyone can match all #thingsfakerdoes. I don't see anyone can match the movements faker does, that's first. His insane mouse movements is what makes him so good in laning and teamfights. Yes his champion pool is large. And one thing that most of the audience didn't notice that Faker always deal tons of damage in every game (except for the Azir games at MSI lol) even if he is 1-4. Deal a lot of damages? YES, good mid laners can do that. Do that when you are getting camped and feed? NO, only faker does that. Faker always create a pressure that force enemy's jungler to camp him or enemy team to focus him, if you look at the game and see faker's KDA, you will not be impress, but as his teammate, having a mid laner like that feeling great. One other thing is that SKT is always good at communication in game, and that's also a part of faker. Overall, as LOL develope, a player can match faker in a PARTICULAR side, but NOT ALL of them. That's why I think faker is still the best.

Honestly it kinda depends on what you're looking for. I'd say Smeb's pretty close. Bang's also up there. But they play completely different roles. Each best in their role could stand a chance at shutting out the other person, with perhaps the exception being support. (I have no idea who the best support is at the moment.) I'd name Smeb, Peanut, Bang as having a chance to win against him at any given day, and being just as good as him, even though they play different roles.

Both games Bjergsen played well early to mid-game. Then in late-game, game 1 Fiora and Faker carried super hard. And game 2 was lack of objectives and going for Faker 2v1, then everybody dies. In a TSM vs SKT match, you wouldn't notice the difference between both mid-laners. They're great players! Maybe Faker has a plus because he can concentrate and tryhard better.

It's because they spend more time on kills than actually doing objectives. You won't win the game if you keep doing that. Just look at Faker's team he has the most cs, and he's team also always do a dragon buff. Bjerg's team? Feeling proud and jerking themselves that they get to kill Faker, and in the end eventually loses late game.

was hoping Ryu would do better. He's actually a solid midlaner, but not looked as a superstar mid laner level. Then there is Perkz who ended up doing nothing with G2 this worlds(well it's not entirely his fault his team lost, his team as a whole in general wasn't that great). Then there is splyce, which isn't even worth talking about, just that they did horrible in worlds. Well, they did have a pretty shitty luck in groups stage draw though.

while results isn't everything(for example faker has won 3 worlds while bjergsen doesn't have anything in terms of international) I really want to see bjergsen vs faker on a true 1 vs 1 skill matchup mid champions. Regardless of who is better mechanically, it would be extremely exciting as both can play to be very aggressive in lane.
