Farhan Jami pled guilty and is currently serving 3+ yrs in prison. He traveled from NY to OH to commit an act of revenge against a Twitch streamer. On her YT channel (justfoxii) she acknowledged he donated $2k to her Twitch account, but said they never privately communicated, and his claims of feeling “jilted” are crazy. The fire destroyed her car and damaged part of her house. She was out of town when it happened but her mother (seen in video) and pets were there. As an aside, I was surprised the officer didn’t ask for the address of the friend he claimed to be visiting. When the officer asked, “Where does your friend live?” the guy gave a vague reply and I wondered why the officer didn’t press for an actual location.

There’s this thing called “the legal system,” and people called “lawyers” who help both sides of the case. The lawyer who helps the “defendant” (the person who gets charged) holds prosecution to an airtight standard, and makes sure the defendant is not convicted of a specific charge without 100% accurate testimony and evidence. When you see someone end their case with a conviction for something other than their initial charge, it means their lawyer did a good job, and it also means the his lawyer and the prosecuting attorney’s office came to an agreement.

@dontthrow60649 күн бұрын
Exactly, he wasn't just "calm" and open to discussion with the cops. If you hear a crime happened minutes away from you, shouldn't you be concerned if someone was hurt? He asked confirmation of the act and how it could be done, never asked about people or if the fire was also extinguished. A good hint for lack of sympathy, i think. Also, in a way he doesn't acknowledge he can be a suspect. And the best part of his lie is that he is traveling to a friend with no baggage.
