Jigra was freaking amazing. I don’t even care if it’s a copy. Alia Bhatt, Manoj Pahwa, and Vedang were frickin' amazing. The cinematography and sibling love were beautifully shown. Saavi ,on the other hand, has Divya Khosla in it. I don't want to say anything more. She has zero acting skills. So, even if she bought the rights to a movie, she wouldn’t do that movie any justice. Jigra deserved better.

The problem here is that unlike the US, India has limited multiple screen theatres. The US and European markets have multiplexes with upto 12 screens each, multiplexes for smaller independent films. So even if a Barbie and Oppenheimer open on the same weekend, both get more than sufficient screens. And the movies play for enough time to recover their money. India simply has multiplexes with limited screens and then atleast in that segment, it is a fight to grab those screens. And then it is simply hunger games for screens.

The biggest fued was SRK v/s Salman that started during Katrina's birthday party.. it was all over the news. I remember watching on TV - An upset SRK walk out of the party and an enraged Salman wipe off sweat from his forhead... It was clear something very bad had happened. The general public sided with SRK without knowing the details because Salman was at the height of his 'bad boy' image back then. No one knows what happened, still.

Jigra was freaking amazing. I don’t even care if it’s a copy. Alia Bhatt, Manoj Pahwa, and Vedang were frickin' amazing. The cinematography and sibling love were beautifully shown. Saavi ,on the other hand, has Divya Khosla in it. I don't want to say anything more. She has zero acting skills. So, even if she bought the rights to a movie, she wouldn’t do that movie any justice. Jigra deserved better.
