when Jo said the sister-in-law was lonely, I could be wrong but I think she might be having post partum issue, as she's just had a baby and at the same time longing for her family in the Philippines, it must be hard for her. At least Jo is aware that's she's lonely and Jo can be there for her but she might also need expert's psychological support, this is only my own opinion.

Just like kdramas distort the reality of what south Korean women face, this is doing the same given some of the comments. Yes, at least these men married them, but there are plenty that go to south east Asian countries to get women that are in desperate need and use them, abuse them, and at times leave them with a child once they've done their deeds. That's the reality. Of course plenty of other countries are culpable as well.
@flimcomedy76672 жыл бұрын
South Korean women are already from a traditional society. I knew something was up when both of them marry Filipna women. I mean filipino marry all kinds of men in order to leave. The country once had potential but bad leadership really made it go backwards.

Would you marry and have a kid with anyone you consider beneath you or someone that is repugnant to you?
