i was an eagle is the most beautifull thing ever created by the human race. The whole medley is probably the second one. Laura you are a godess. And somehow the live versions are even better. But the studio ones have more toys to keep you interested. Absolute perfection. I ve never felt so impressed in my life by an artist.

My, Oh My! Some bodies have been busy, very, very busy! This is a very masterful piece of work by many people. Obviously Laura and Ethan are meant to work together. Fred and Nick's film making has always been well done but now this and I'm thinking, look out Francis and Martin (or whoever). This video reminds me of Sgt.Pepper but it's Laura. She is amazing. I want to hear "Once I Was An Eagle" in its entirety. Laura Marling's music continues to grow and grow yet she is not seeking fame.

The recurring guitar melody has some resemblance to "Fearless" by Pink Floyd, and I couldn't be more in love. It's as if Marling has taken British folk and pumped liquid fire through it's veins.

This album would be great as a double cd with a live version. So that everyone can be happy and have the acoustic versions of tracks like master hunter, once, pray for me.....So that people that havent heard them can compare, its a shame to miss on them. true she uses similar themes, stories or whatever. She also has some words she always pops out, like lies, master, beast, devil.......If someone that doesnt speak english listens to her, probably will be mesmerized and recognize her talent. So the music, the guitar, her voice are powerfull enough to make her a great artist. Its a bonus that she has some poetic side and that she tries to add some depth in her lyrics. It can be repetitive, but who cares when the music is so great

It might not be as good as her first couple of albums but shes worked her way up to this "enormously funded video" personally I appreciate it, I think its beautiful and the music is lovely. The reason this album sounds more american is probably due to her extensive touring through NA over the last few years. When you watch her live performances throughout the US you can tell she quite enjoys her travels. Perhaps that's where this sound comes from? But I also think it was always there, and she was just finding her way to it.
