I mean, as a Ukrainian the story in this trilogy hits me so hard. How the war is actually made, how it's a just business to so many, how the ultra nationalists can actually climb all the way up to the power and how good men die fighting, getting pointless revenge, becoming just a shell of themselves. Yes, the game is shown from "good guys" perspective but they managed to grt so many interesting and really grey ideas into the story. The "No russian" mission got so much hate from people who never got the point. They chose to silent the truth as if it wouldn't happen in real world, just because they lashed their rage on "stupid videogames", completely ignoring the context.
