I loved the ending. Amazing chemistry between Chris and Erin. Kiss super passionate and urgent. Watching Nathan and Elizabeth always was harrowing, heavy. It didn't thrill me.

Love the show. Love the actors and writers. Seaskn 8 has been your best season yet. Can't wait to see you top it with season 9. Lucas and Elizabeth are perfect. So much chemistry and love. Lucas will make a great dad. Nathan and Allie I'm sure will be geat as well

To be honest I was team Lucas before there was a team. Ever since Elizabeth met Lucas on the street. I saw The chemistry between Lucas/Chris and Elizabeth/Erin. When calls the heart is truly a beautiful show. Reminiscent of good quality wholesome television. I am so happy I discovered the show I am so grateful for A channel light hallmark that produces it. The cast all of the cast are phenomenal. Looking forward to the continuing story of Lucas and Elizabeth and all of the residents of Hope Valley.

Sorry Erin, not happy with Elizabeth's choice or the story line coming up for Season 9. Will start the new season watching, but not sure how long it will continue to hold my interest now that Elizabeth trashed Nathan. I truly believe that decision will cost you half of your viewers.

Elizabeth and Lucas need to be written out of the show. Bring in a new school teacher for Nathan and return to the storyline of the books. Nathan is a leading man, Lucas is not.

I keep telling myself it just a show, but I likewise find myself very upset with Elizabeth. She wasn't convincing in her efforts she wasn't in love with Nathan. You don't keep giving Nathan Twitter patted eyes like she keep giving him while with Lucas. Heck Lucas thought she loved Nathan because of these. Her character definitely changed not for the good this season.

I totally agree..so many scenes through the year where there was a love connection between nathan and Elizabeth..you could see it in their eyes when they looked at each other. And while she did have some dates with Lucas and nothing with nathan, I didn't feel the connection.. only politeness.. there not married yet..with the turn of events in the last episode, one can only wonder what the crazy writers will do next season..I could see Lucas getting into a shady deal that nathan has to get involved as a mountie, and Elizabeth haring him for a while b4 realizing he just saved her from making a big mistake..I remember her being angry at Jack in a couple episodes when she was making a bad decision...however, I will give Lucas the benefit of the doubt and see what happens when next year rolls around..AND they better come up with a longer season...12 episodes are pretty skimpy..

WCTH used to be my favorite show but the ending of season 8, after a grueling love triangle, has left me questioning whether I can stand to watch another season. The ending to me did not feel right. I should have felt joy but felt empty. Nathan should have been the choice but writers went for shock value instead of what made sense and what would have provided a beautiful story of the Grant blended family. I am heartbroken for so many reasons and so disappointed. I just can't get behind the E & L pairing even though I tried. 💔

I'm done with WCTH. The way the character of N was beaten down all season to gut punch him again in the finale was too much..E and L never fought for love period, the only one willing to fight for love was N..this whole writing never made sense..Alfonso said it best, I want the fans to choose N based on their reactions of what they saw and we did..too bad they let Alfonso go, I guess now we know why they hired a new writer.

They are lying to themselves and lying to viewers but we don't believe their earnest protests. Nope! They lied in broad daylight and got away with it seeing as the show was renewed for Season 9. What a win -- deceive your fans, write poorly and be rewarded for it. Wow. Just Wow.

I agree. Very disjointed especially the finale. Nothing felt like it flowed. I was ready for the love triangle to be over long ago. She never went on 1 date with Nathan, yet their conversations went a little more in depth, while the dates with Lucas were all superficial and no in depth conversations. Feel like Elizabeth doesn't really know Lucas at all, just what he wants her to see.

There are only 6 season in Netflix, but when I saw season 7 and 8 in You tube, I can feel the chemistry between Elizabeth and Lucas is stronger than with Nathan. So no wonder finally Elizabeth chose Lucas. That's right she loves Nathan but was in love with Lucas becaupe Heart knows what it wants

BB getting on twitter and saying NOT ANY of the cast and crew members regret one ounce of their decision, shows me just how mis-connected these people are with their fans they claim to care about. If some choose to come back for season 9 then that's their right, but I want be back.. and I know many, many that want be back either..

Elizabeth's character has been changed in this series, i think she has gone back to her old character - rich girl who is interested in the rich life, wining and dining away. i wonder why they make her the type of character she turned out in Season 8. She has forgotten Jack, he was unwilling to change himself for his anything or anyone. what a shame to change the character to such a shallow character she became in season 8
