I first saw Kevin in a play in Shaw Festival. This is back in 2012? Or 2013? You could easily say that he is very talented snd great at what he does! Then I watched “Open Heart” few years later and was glad to see Kevin there again! Very interesting show and sadly it didn’t continue. Tori Anderson was on Open Heart too and she is such a great actress! 👸🏼 This was such a great episode! 👌🏻👏🏻😃 Thanks Paul !

Love listening to this podcast! Kevin wanted to dish out more things about WCTH but couldn’t ...lol. Paul, I hope Carson doesn’t leave Hope Valley. I really enjoy your acting and what you put into your character. But my favorite line is when Nathan says to Lucas, “Save It” when he rides away. I know Lucas gave it back to him later. Chris is a great actor too. Love the battle back and forth with them. I am so happy Kevin and Kayla are a couple, they look so cute together. I hope Kayla’s character Fiona gets a good man too! Love her independence and strength she projects in Hope Valley! Thanks Paul for this wonderful show! Can’t wait to see more!

Good Interview, Paul. You ask questions that no one else asks and as a listener, you feel as if this conversation is while sitting around talking at a family reunion. Paul, I love how kind you are with everyone you speak to. What I like about watching you in your movies is how your kindness and respect shine through with every person you are with regardless of the lines you are being told to say. If you don't like someone, you definitely keep it hidden!😂 What I enjoyed about this interview was watching Kevin working to entertain you trying to make you laugh. Your sense of humor is opposite of his, but you complement each other well with your differences in wit and humor. That is why your trailer concert was so enjoyable. You step back (as does Kayla) and allow Kevin to shine while he is in his element as a live entertainer. Your authentic responses of laughter and contributions to his jokes and humor made me laugh as well. Your laughter and "comebacks" worked so well to create such an enjoyable "impromptu" show. You both instantly gained my admiration and respect when you spoke highly of your families (parents, children), and complimented the special women (partners) in your lives. Paul, I love how you are outspoken about how you enjoy fatherhood and how much you love your son. Dads are SO important and good dads are hard to find. The statement that "Behind every successful man is a good woman" is SO true. (This could be a wife, mom, aunt, teacher or grandmother but every successful person has had a woman cheering them on and working behind the scenes to guarantee that that man succeeds in all his endeavors.) I hope Carson and Nathan get more scenes together in S9 because you seem to make a good team together. Blessings! Thanks for the laughter and for taking the time to use your connections with your actor friends to give us a behind the curtain glance into their real lives and personalities. The way you interview them leaves a favorable impression of that individual on the hearts and minds of those who are listening in. P.S. I loved Kayla's appearance in this interview and seeing her clear admiration and amusement of Kevin and his antics. She appears to balance him out. (The "calm after the storm" with her sincerity, gentleness, feminity and genuine enjoyment of Kevin's humor.)🥰

Paul said, “You’re better when she’s on.” I think he sees how unconsciously, Kevin would do something to Kayla, e.g., Pat her hip when he sensed that she moved slightly; and when Eve he looks at her while she’s talking. There’s that “not over the top show of love/care” to her. One can see his love to her in the way he looks at her - like they’re just the two of them!
