You have violated God's Law that He wrote in your heart; your own conscience condemns you. Therefore, you deserve 'the fine'-the punishment of hell. But God is good, gracious, and kind. He desires to show you mercy! For this reason, Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) died on the cross. The Law was violated, but Christ paid the fine. He suffered in exchange, as the Substitute; and He rose on the third day. Repent and place all your faith in the Person and work of Jesus Christ, and you will be saved from the wrath of God.

Many years ago when I was in my 20’s, I used to meet celebrities all the time since I worked in a very high end restaurant in the Midwest. It wasn’t unusual to have well known people come in a few times per month. I’ve met everyone from Andy Warhol to Liza Minnelli. One afternoon in the summer a table of 4 came in. 2 of the people were Kenny Loggins and his wife. They stayed about an hour and a half. They were my last table. I was ready to go and noticed they were across the street window shopping. As I approached them his wife told me how much they enjoyed their lunch, she asked my name again and said the next time they were in town they’d come back and ask for me. It was very sweet of them. Just then, 2 young teens came skate boarding up. They stopped when they saw Kenny. They looked at him, did a double take, then looked at each other and at the same time both said “nahhhhh” and skate boarded away. Kenny his wife and I looked at each other and immediately started cracking up. He said “no autographs for them”. We laughed again and said goodbye. A year later a beautiful woman in sunglasses walked in with a friend. I picked up menus to seat them. She asked “are you John?”. I said yes, then she said “”I’m Kenny Loggins wife. I told you I’d come back to see you”. I was very flattered, when they were leaving after lunch, I said I hoped I’d see her again sometime.

I would have recognized Ed O'Neill, but not the rest. Celebrities like Ed O'Neill don't change their faces as much as other stars. The other stars have new facial features every 12 months. I would even confuse Nicole Kidman with S.J. Parker. I'm sure they both have the same doctor. If I were in a hurry, I would walk past at least half a dozen stars and not notice them. As already mentioned: I'm often busy with my thoughts and want to get appointments done quickly. Ed O'Neill has the same attitude, sees other celebrities and doesn't know who they are. Keanu Reves, who is a humble man, has a beard once and is shaved weeks later. I think the actor is very nice, but I wouldn't recognize him directly. He's the nicest of the A-listers. The other A-listers, many of them, are far too annoying for me. Money and fame does spoil the character.

We live in Wasilla, Alaska, & a person who looks like a celebrity here is usually just that. In his autobiography "Bush Rat Governor", Jay Hammond shared a good one: He was flying actor Robert Redford around, sightseeing in his Cessna floatplane, & radioed ahead to let folks in his isolated fly-in-only home town know he was approaching, using only his plane's call sign, which everyone recognized, so most of the community was there at the dock to greet him. Redford climbed out wearing a pair of aviator sunglasses & was mistaken for the pilot, even though everyone there must have known Jay had his own plane. Redford was left standing on the dock as the crowd swept the Governor up the path, bemused & grateful to be ignored & not recognized for once.

13:30 - Re; Taylor Swift An american living in Asia found himself falling on hard times, and decides to rob a convenience store. The convenience store owner calls the cops after the American left with the money, and when the cops arrived, they asked the shop owner to describe the perpetrator; "He was a tall American." The police then asked the shop owner to describe him in more detail, to which the shop owner replied; "I told you, he was a tall American. What more do you want ! ! ! These Americans, they all look the same." . . .

This is sooo true!! There were NBA players walking around the city of Lille (France) during the Olympics and no one recognises them. I guess they must be happy to be left alone 🤣🤣

I've met quite a few celebrities in my lifetime. The most memorable was when my husband and I went to a baseball game and Paul Reiser walked by and sat down next to me. I didn't let on that I knew who he was and I think he got a big kick out of it. He even asked me to take a picture of him, his friend and his friend's little boy. They ended up being a lot of fun to sit next to that day. That was about 16 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday.

About the security men, it is such a shame they did not introduce everything about the show. Sometimes it is fundamental that you know what gonna happens on the stage. They were doing their jobs
