Yeah, this happened to me a few times in hourglass. People would mysteriously appear on my ship despite their ship being nowhere near mine, they would fall off the ship and reappear on my deck within a second to keep fighting, none of my hits seems to do any real damage, and their ship sunk because they forgot to repair.

Someone needs to create a hack to fool the cheaters. Boarding an enemy ship should automatically cause the cheater to start doing no damage to the enemies and any damage they try to do does damage to themselves as well as putting random damage to their own ship. It should also cause auto repair to become auto scuttle.

The number one rule of combat is to fight on your terms, not theirs. You want to create your own advantages. On top of that, victory varies depending on how you define it. To the one running, victory may be in escaping the attacker or victory may be in leading the attacker on a wild goose chase. My original comment has absolutely nothing to do with runners.
