That is a completely different build then, one that isn't viable anymore and doesn't work with a 2nd base. So no.

Captain I have a stinky cheese for you. I would like to see the high level version, if you think its worthy. the premise of this poorly executed cheese is to keep your enemy contained by deploying a nuke on their wall after blocking their natural and second with your proxy. I did everything wrong but the positioning of buildings and units should be the main take away. Yes I reposition because I sent them first to the wrong spot the ending spots for units feels right. I posted it to my channel its a cheese I use mostly verses Terran. usually Terran will make tanks and marauders against a proxy. always build the factory before the ghost academy. The main take away is that if done pro you can nuke the gate of a Terran fortress. Just go to my most recent videos on KZbin to see my bastardized rendition of my favorite stinky cheese. If done right you will play like an absolute tool, and little can be done to stop it. Go for fastest ghost after factory with 1 or 2 ghost academies.

@@mothrahlurker788 Specifically in terran vs. terran, You can make ghosts at the same time as tanks in the skill tree, therefore for a short window ravens won't be out. (there are limited scans in the early game I recomend leaving with 2 ghosts and 2-3 ghost academies for nukes. While building out your two base cheese, you delay a starport to get out your ghosts and tanks. This only works on smaller maps and it works for the map I played. set up your tanks just outside of their tank range and drop a nuke. the ghost is the bait to set up the ambush. Use the tanks and marines to stop enemy units from engaging with the ghost thats dropping nukes. leap frog your tanks into position. Having physical buildings built in his natural and third only works if you can hold that ground long enough to build bunkers. send one scv around on patrol to every unused mineral patch on the map to make sure your contain is working, by the way this is a contain strat. I keep tanks in position at home and send all new troops as they are built to key defensive positions. Can I deploy this strat in real time? (I can't) but I think our boy harstem could.

What about a 2 base all in where you mind game your Zerg opponent by transferring all your mineral mining probes to a third from your main as if you are macro’ing hard, only to come in with like 5 void rays or so unexpectedly. Use the first one to get rid of scouting overlords, then maybe build a single oracle. From there you can feint glaive adepts and try to get him to dump resources into roaches, only to show up with mass void rays. So it’s a two base all in with a fake third, 5 voids, some adepts without glaives, and some batteries to hold the inevitable counterattack. Hopefully he goes for the third and then you can just transfer workers back to the main 😂 Edit: haha I typed all this before watching the video only to see a void ray save up 😂

zergs play with too many queens for 5 (or even 10, honestly) void rays to matter.

This has a very close to 0% chance of working. Voidray into oracle isn't that weird and the standard 6 queen response works completely fine vs that. Then as you have taken a third and made 2 stargate units, the zerg already knows that there can't be glaive adepts and will just drone up to 3base while pressuring the third with lings, forcing you to show your air units. Your opponent sees the lack of units, I don't know how you would suggest he could do anything to get the zerg to make roaches. All of this is also so late and has a third base (you're even suggesting batteries) that the low probe count only really hurts you instead of offering a stronger push. In fact, how exactly do you propose he uses those minerals anyway he gains from not making probes, he is limited by stargate production time. A good zerg will easily see the voidrays coming with lings and then just get a freewin by pressing another round of queens. 9 queens vs 5 voidrays is an easy win for the zerg while your third probably dies to lings. The game is just over then, no matter if you "just transfer back to the main".

And even if he breaks your third, that’s why I mentioned the transfer back to the main. It’s all about the mind game, I might not have the tightest idea, but there’s something there I think

@@JFox4587 You have 2 gateways by the time the lings show up and warpgate jsut done and you need him to build a 2nd stargate for your plan anyway. He can not defend this with the adepts alone, one has to be in the wall and 2 more can be warped in. If the third breaks the game is over anyway. Look at his latest video to see it from Harstem's side how he forces Guitarking to show his oracles and use them. No, there really is absolutely nothing there.

⚠️ Spoiler Warning ⚠️ Captain forgive my humble opinion but at 12:30 if you'd added a "battle probe", you could've added a pylon some batteries under your Voidrays and/or your proxy location for extra 🧀 🧀 🧀. Also you could've pulled your low HP Voidrays out of the fight completely, I like to click back to retreat then single target/A move the high HP ones at the back forward, before using the groups hotkey to A move in the new formation I think Void Ray movement, especially in groups is very clunky and hard to manoeuvre well, even with the upgrade. you lost game 2 because you feed the void ray for no reason, should have get them to attack svc or target his production. Either way you would have delay him from cleaning/keeping up with your units count and making a come back by spliting his army. Most of the time protoss lose because they got greedy and impatient and thought they could end it by A-move staying to fight instead of micro move.
