Yeh homeland security didn't want to out their informant but where right there watching as they sent a poor lightly armed cop to do their work. Watched as he was executed then after he drove off they come in. What did they think was going to happen a drug trafficker would just say to the cop "I'm a drug trafficker take me to jail"! Id say 100% they sent an officer to his death. Any jury would agree some coward judge deemed them not liable that's garbage.
@rileytruax7664 күн бұрын
@@timsherry-s6q what do you mean "what did they think would happen" you say this as if they knew that one: he was armed with not one but two guns. this is made clear when the cop sees a gun in the WAIST of the guys pants so we know he had to of saw a pistol or smaller gun. however the guy shoots him with a rifle this suggests that he left his handgun on the seat like the officer asked and as he got out grabber the riffle that was most likely tucked beside the seat and the door. and second you also say that as if all drug trafficker's are both armed and dangerous. traffickers either just dont have weapons or if they do its to protect themselves from being robbed not to use on cops. so its actually weird to assume that hes armed and dangerous just becuase hes transporting drugs

When they are dealing with some regular citizen, they act all tough in numbers, nonstop f-bombs, being antagonistic and arrogant, etc. They 100% KNEW that first guy was a hardened and dangerous criminal; the exact type they should deal with using a lot of cops. Instead, they sent in who was probably the youngest, nicest, and least aggressive cop in their department to deal with THAT criminal all his own and without any visible backup. "RIP Officer Jarrott. Thank you for your service and sacrifice." Interesting sentiment. Let’s examine it without the lens of emotional reverence. The concept of "sacrifice" implies a conscious choice to endure harm for a greater cause. One might question whether Officer Jarrott, or anyone in similar circumstances, truly sacrifices out of altruism-or if it’s simply part of a calculated transaction. Officers take on the role voluntarily, fully aware of the risks, in exchange for job security, pensions, and societal respect. If altruism were the driving force, wouldn’t there be comparable dedication in similarly dangerous but less glorified professions, like sanitation workers or utility linemen? The phrase “thank you for your service” raises another question: what exactly is the "service" here? Is it protecting communities, upholding laws, or maintaining a system that often prioritizes state authority over individual welfare? And in this case, did the "sacrifice" yield a meaningful outcome, or was it a tragic example of systemic inefficiency? As for the federal agents described as cowardly-perhaps they too were acting rationally. After all, their survival ensures their ability to continue performing their duties. If the mission was ultimately completed without further loss of life, was their perceived "cowardice" not pragmatism in disguise? Perhaps the entire situation is less about noble sacrifice and more about a flawed system where human lives, whether law enforcement or civilian, are expendable in the pursuit of enforcing societal rules that themselves are open to scrutiny.

@benji82625 күн бұрын
He was driving in the opposite lane when the office first spotted him. Not in control of his vehicle. They have the right to pull him over and assume he might be intoxicated or high because of his driving. He refused to comply with a search and get out of his vehicle to search for drugs(which was probable given his driving and refusal to step out) resisting orders. Are you out of your fucking mind that the police should "find out" trying to keep our roads safe from murderous individuals potentially driving under the influence? He could have complied and listened and everything would have been okay but now 1 person is dead and he has life in prison because the police enforcing laws, "FA'd". Christ, get a fucking grip
