that awkward moment when you're 8 years old and after getting beat by your 350lbs father for an hour straight till he's having chest pains and wheezing from the effort so he calls the cops and they burst in just as he's on top of you with his hands on your throat so they get your father off you only to cuff you and lay you face down for probably another hour while they get dad's side of the story to then pick you up and bring your 8 year old arse to jail to give you a stern warning about behaving and do as your father says or you'll go to jail for longer and they ignore you when you tell them he hits you and your brother all the time and he does sexual things to you but because you're crying and having a bad day they tell you to stop lying and behave or you're going to get charged with assault against your father who's about 10x your size even though you're the one covered with bruises and missing teeth and your dad is fine except he exhausted himself beating you man, I really wish they had gone easy on me that day...i was having a REALLY bad day

@@akacasascha3628 That is correct. U.S. uses percent. Germany uses per mill. Everything below that lacks scientific reasoning. Edit: Staying below those values does not mean you cannot be charged with DUI btw, neither in Germany nor in a lot of U.S. states. I figured since I had my DUI recorded ten years prior in the next town over, that the interaction would of been recorded as well. However it wasn't or so they claim. His buddies just laughed, stole my phone too make sure it wasn't recording, and it was just my word against 3 cops and at the time so I didn't have a chance in court and was forced to basically plea to something I wasn't guilty of. They purposely close their eyes . Not saying that’s you. You seem like a cool guy. I know with all the laws on the books. Know matter who you are you will brake the law. It a matter of degree how bad of a criminal you are. John Stossel did a huge story on this. You can look it up. In the "old days" aka pre 2000 cops gave a lot more leeway to just about everyone. I remember my senior year of high school in 1997. A bunch of us seniors that played football went to a big field party. I was in a car with a few other guys and 2 girls and we were all crammed in there. We got pulled over at like 2 am. We had all drank a few beers despite being underage. I was still 17 along with a few others and 2 guys were 18. The cop saw beer cans in the back seat. Made us all get out and he dumped the beer on the side of the road. Asked where we were going. We told him to the one guy Chris's house which was actually 1/2 mile away tops. He told us to get out asses there and stay inside the rest of the night. We drove away and he followed us to the house then drove away. That would never happen today.

My jaw is on the floor with the third one. When I took my CCW class here on the east side of Cleveland, one of the biggest things they drove through our minds was that you never touch your gun in the presence of an officer. When you get stopped, you leave your hands highly visible and calmly inform the officer you are exercising your 2A and have a concealed firearm, describe its location, and let them know you will follow whatever orders they give. And, if they order you to touch your gun for some reason, confirm with them as it is a felony in the state of Ohio. The fact this officer brazenly lifted his shirt and placed his hand directly on his weapon as an intimidation tactic... and he didn't lose his job? Ridiculous. What makes it even worse is the background on this situation - this was a Bratenahl city detective who was on stakeout duty in East Cleveland (they are neighboring towns.) He had this amount of kit in his vehicle because he was on official duty.

That's because you weren't in a position that, due to a lack of accountability, made you feel untouchable. You'd be begging if you thought you were going to lose your legal invincibility, but you didn't beg because we've been living under these jackbooted thugs' police state our whole lives.

Anyone who asks you to commit a crime to "help them out" doesn't need your help. They need professional help.

What makes me genuinely angry is how that last guy got a slap on the wrist for threatening an officer with a gun IN a police station. If that were a civilian, he would have been put in prison if not *gunned down* the second his hand touched that weapon.

True, when I saw him touch the gun I did think he was going to pull it out and threaten the cop. As already said in the comments anyone else would heve been beaten down or shot.

@@dr3ws ok. Let’s see how it ends if a civilian does the same thing under the same context.
